Not good for candle making
It's well-designed and. works perfectly but I purchased it for candle-making using the double boiler method for which it's sadly not suitable - cannot get the wax temp to go beyond 70 to the 85 which is required because the auto-thermostat keeps switching off. It'd be really good for camping on a powered campsite!!!
