    Good Price

The Nothing 3a offers excellent value for money — the price point is very competitive for the features you get. Battery life is impressive and easily lasts a full day of heavy use, which is great if you’re often on the go. You also get a good range of features for the price, including a clean software experience and solid performance for everyday tasks. However, one downside I noticed is that the phone has lost GPS connectivity with my car a couple of times. While not a deal-breaker for most day-to-day use, it’s something to be aware of if you rely heavily on navigation while driving.

Don't be fooled by the name!

Wow, I am impressed. This NOTHING phone offers speed, function and reliability at a fraction of the cost of the well known, high end phones. The sales consultant was absolutely right when he told me "this phone is kick a$$" Highly recommend.

    Nothing is great

I am loving this phone. I have previously always bought cheaper phones and been disappointed. I still can't justify the cost of a high end phone, but this feels like one to me. It integrates seamlessly with my peripherals unlike my previous phones and does everything I want plus more.

Key benefits

  • AMOLED Display: Delivers vibrant colours and smooth visuals with 120 Hz refresh rate.
  • Triple Camera System: Captures high-quality photos with wide, telephoto, and ultra-wide lenses.
  • 5G Connectivity: Enables fast data speeds for streaming and downloads.
  • Dual Nano SIM: Supports global travel and flexible carrier options.
  • Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Processor: Provides reliable performance for multitasking.
  • Large Battery: Ensures all-day use with efficient power management.

  • Stereo Speakers: Enhances audio experience for media and calls.

Q: Is the Nothing Phone (3a) water resistant enough for rain and accidental splashes?

A: Yes. Its IP64 rating means it is dust resistant and can handle splashes and light rain, which suits everyday outdoor use. It is not rated for submersion, so it should not be used in the pool, bath or shower.

Q: What does the Nothing Phone (3a) camera setup mean for everyday photos and zoom shots?

A: It uses a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto and an 8MP ultra wide, so it covers standard shots, wider scenes and more natural portrait framing. The telephoto should look cleaner than a simple digital crop, but it is not a long-range zoom phone.

Q: Can the Nothing Phone (3a) run two SIM cards and still use 5G?

A: Yes. This model supports dual Nano SIM and 5G connectivity, which is useful if you want separate work and personal numbers in one phone. The listed specs do not mention eSIM, so buyers wanting eSIM support should not assume it is included.

Q: Is the 6.77 inch display easy to see outdoors, and what does the 120Hz refresh rate do?

A: Yes. The AMOLED screen reaches 1300 nits in high brightness mode and 3000 nits peak for supported highlights, so outdoor visibility should be solid. The 120Hz refresh rate also makes scrolling and animations look smoother than a standard 60Hz panel.

Q: Does the Nothing Phone (3a) have a headphone jack or microSD card slot?

A: No. The listed specs show no 3.5mm headphone jack, and expandable microSD storage is not listed for this model. That means wired audio will need USB-C or an adapter, and the 128GB storage should be planned around apps, photos and 4K video use.

Q: Is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 with 8GB RAM suitable for gaming and everyday multitasking?

A: Yes. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and 8GB RAM should handle everyday apps, streaming, multitasking and most games smoothly at this price level. It is more of an upper mid-range setup than a flagship gaming phone, so the toughest titles may need lower settings.
