Love my Smeg Kettle!
This kettle/jug is the best kettle I’ve ever had. It has numerous features which appeal to me. I love how it lets you know when it’s reached the desired temperature with a jaunty ‘bingle bongle’ sound. This came as a complete surprise when I first turned it on. If you don’t like this feature, it can easily be muted. The kettle can also maintain your desired temperature for a maximum of 20 minutes which means you can set it up and start it to boil when you are eating your cereal, and your water will be still just right by the time you want to have your tea and breakfast muffin. You can alter the maximum temperature to suit your particular beverage type with a simple movement of the temperature selector. Very easy peasy! Another feature which is important to me is the overall aesthetics of the kettle - the shape is very appealing and there are a range of colours available which attractively meld together a vintage and yet still modern appearance. I have chosen the cream colourway and I couldn’t be happier!!
